About Me

My name is Sarah Honeywood and I live in East Grinstead with my husband, two children and my gorgeous black cat Buddy.

I have worked with cats for over 20 years and have owned them all my life. I grew up with my lovely black cat, Sooty, and tortoiseshell cat, Milly. Cats are my absolute passion and I feel so lucky to look after them for a living. 

At the age of 14 I started doing some voluntary work for Maureen Kelsey at Blackberry Cattery in Lingfield, as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award. I absolutely fell in love with the job and continued to work there at weekends until I left at 18. I then spent some time working in an office as a customer service advisor. Although I enjoyed my job, it was not the same as working with cats and I soon made the decision to return to the cattery.

Maureen retired and closed Blackberry Cattery at the end of 2016, so I carefully thought about how I could transfer my skills into the next chapter of my life. As a cat owner myself, I appreciate how important it is to receive personalised care when I go away, and as Buddy absolutely hates going in the car and feels much more comfortable in his own home, I felt that many other cat owners must feel the same way. This idea led me to channel my passion and expertise into setting up Purrfect Paws Mobile Cat Care, a personalised home care business.  Your cat can maintain a normal routine in their own environment with familiar smells and surroundings. Not only will I do the essential jobs of maintaining food, water and clean litter, I will also give them the love and attention that they crave. Play, stimulation and basic grooming are also part of the service, which means you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing that you will return to a healthy, happy and settled cat.

I am a friendly, reliable and extremely trustworthy person and have a great deal of experience in looking after cats. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and police checked for your reassurance. A copy of these documents along with identification are available at all times.
